Welcome from the Director

Dear Friends of the Fourth School,

A passion for summer camps has long been engrained in my being. Like most children, I grew up participating in a variety of camps. Yet, at the age when many people begin to lose interest in them, I began to work at them. During high school I spent my summers as a counselor at soccer camps and church camps in the Orlando, FL area. Then, during my college years the Lord led me to be a staff member and staff leader at Camp St. Christopher in Charleston, SC. In that place God gave me the tools to train young leaders and help children have the best week of their summer while worshiping their creator. Thankfully, the Lord brought my eventual wife, Bethany, to Camp St. Christopher as well; thus, I am married to a woman equally excited about summer camps!

I tell you all of this to give you a better idea of where I have been and what kind of environment you will be sending your child to if they spend some of their summer with us. I am looking forward to personally heading up our soccer camp and day camp this year, as that is my area of expertise. However, I would also encourage you to look into our many enrichment camp opportunities, which are lead by our caring, qualified educators here at Fourth. Finally, we are very blessed to be able to invite former NBA player and current ESPN college basketball analyst, Adrian Branch, to lead our basketball camps this summer. Hopefully, all of these happenings get you as excited as us here at Fourth! We trust that you will thoughtfully consider adding Fourth’s camps to your summer schedule.

Grace and Peace in Christ,
