What is the Fourth School Fund?
The Fourth School Fund is the amount of money that must be raised each year to cover the gap between the money received from tuition fees and the actual operating expenses of the school. As a growing school, the Fourth School receives only about 60% of its operating budget from tuition fees. The rest must be raised through donations to the school’s Fourth School Fund.
Do small gifts have an impact on the Fourth School Fund?
Yes! Regardless of the level of your gift, it is an expression of your heart for the school and the unique mission that the Lord has given us. The Lord will honor your gift regardless of its size, and every gift to the Fourth School makes a difference.
What is the Covenant Fund?
The Covenant Fund is the Fourth School’s financial aid program. Gifts given to the school’s Covenant Fund provide financial assistance to families that would otherwise not be able to afford a Fourth School education.
What is the annual Golf Tournament?
The Fourth School’s annual golf tournament is a Covenant Fund fundraising event. Held each fall, the tournament provides a wonderful opportunity to donate directly to the Covenant Fund by golfing in the event. It also allows you to develop relationships with other donors and the Fourth School community.
Why is it important to participate?
Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Fourth School education. The money we raise through The Fourth School Fund helps bridge the gap between the money received from tuition fees and the actual operating costs of the school. The money we raise on behalf of our Covenant Fund helps students whose families might not be able to afford the distinctive benefits of a Fourth School education. Every gift helps!
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Your gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. The Fourth Presbyterian School is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation. Our federal tax ID is 52-2065223. You will receive a receipt acknowledging your donation. Please refer to your tax advisor for details.
