Fall 2009

Fact Hound, our research game, resumes for the fall.

Three different questions are geared towards K-2; 3-4 and MS every two weeks.  Questions are posted in the media center, the main office, in weekly announcements and online.

Students use reference sources (not Google!) in the media center to find the answers to each question.

Students may come any time during the day to research a question - the media center has an open-door policy.

Two winners from each class are randomly selected from the correct answers – these students will receive a small prize!

And the honor of wearing a ‘Fact Hound’ badge all day.

• K-2:  Where is the country of Ghana?
• 3-5:  What is the world's smallest ocean?
• MS:  Name two parts of a URL.
