Headmaster Letter

Dear Prospective Parents:

A recent LifeWay Research poll found that 7 in 10 Protestants ages 18-30 (mainline and evangelical) who went to church regularly in high school said they quit attending church by the age of 23. I can think of no better way to reverse the trend of this moral free-fall in America than by preparing our young men and women to engage their generation for Jesus Christ.

Unlike public schools and secular private schools, we can answer the question, “Why are we here?” in a very powerful way. I could read countless stories from my master’s thesis at Dartmouth of men and women who greatly impacted this country because of their sense of a God-given purpose in life derived from the Christian worldview they received in school. What a wonderful platform God has given us through The Fourth School to serve this community for such a time as this.

Combining traditional, classical, and innovative curriculum and teaching methods, our educational program provides a strong biblical and academic foundation for each student. However, no factor contributes more significantly to our educational program than a superior faculty.

We seek talented teachers who are inspired by our mission and who can energize students and themselves in the learning enterprise. The growth and retention of inspirational teachers who are strong Christian role models for students is an important long-term factor in realizing the school’s mission and vision.

As a Christ-centered, academically challenging school, we seek to prepare young men and women for college and life by providing opportunities to excel in the vital areas of faith, virtue, and knowledge.

While you prayerfully consider The Fourth School, please do not hesitate to call the admissions office. We want to be helpful in every possible way. Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely yours,

John A. Murray
